Debut with Bogota Philharmonic Orchestra (Orquesta Filarmónica de Bogotá)

In the beginning of April 2013 Pawel Przytocki is again visiting South America after warm reception of his concert in Santiago de Chile in 2011 but this time he will appear in Bogota (the capital city of Columbia).
Since his first performance in Latin America (Mexico - 1995), Przytocki has become very enthusiastically disposed towards orchestras of this region. Having gained this considerable experience of working with Latin-American orchestras and being under big impression of their high standard, Przytocki is eagerly cooperating with some of them.
This is proved for example by inviting him to Bogota Philharmonic Orchestra, which is going to be conducted by Przytocki during two concerts: 12th and 13th April 2013. This will be his debut in Columbia.
What is really worth emphasizing in the matter of the concert programme is the remarkable polish feature – Bajka/Conte d’hiver composed by Stanislaw Moniuszko. The name of this fantastic overture means in English: Fairytale/Winter tale and was composed in 1848.
Programme:
- Stanislaw Moniuszko – Bajka/Conte d’hiver
- Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart – Violin Concerto no. 2 in D major, KV 211
- Antonin Dvorak – Symphony no. 3 Op. 10
