Concerts with eminent soloists
In the spring 2015 Paweł Przytocki will cooperate with world - famous artists: Lukas Geniusas and Ivan Zenaty.
The first concert will take place in Szczecin on 27th February. Przytocki is a welcome guest at the Szczecin Philharmonic Orchestra but this time it will be his first performance with this orchestra in the new philharmonic hall. Przytocki will conduct Symphony No.6 in D major, op.60 by Antonin Dvorak and rarely performed Piano concerto No.2 in G major, op.44 by Pyotr Tchaikovsky. The soloist will be Lukas Geniusas - accomplished Russian pianist, who won the second prize on the XVI International Chopin Piano Competition in Warsaw in 2010.
The second performance with another outstanding soloist - renowned violinist from Czech Republic Ivan Zenaty will take place in Zilina (northern Slovakia) on 12th March. Przytocki will conduct the Slovak Sinfonietta Zilina (it will be his debut with this orchestra). The various concert programme consists of:
- Messaggio for violin and orchestra by Silvia Bodorova (she is a contemporary Slovak composer)
- Violin concerto in D minor by Robert Schumann
- Symphony No.39 by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart.
