Spring concerts schedule
In the upcoming months Poland will remain as the venue of the concerts conducted by Paweł Przytocki.
On 27th February he is conducting the Kalisz Philharmonic Orchestra and cooperating with the pianist Clare Hammond. They are performing the Piano Concerto No. 1 in B major composed by Josef Myslivecek, who was a great friend of Mozart. It will be the world premiere of this piece. Apart of this they are performing Piano concerto No. 20 in D minor by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart and Symphony in C major by Georges Bizet.
Afterwards on 11th March Przytocki is visiting Bydgoszcz, where he is conducting the Symphony Orchestra of Pomeranian Philharmonic. In cooperation with violinist Katarzyna Duda they will perform the Violin concerto by Aram Khachaturian and Concerto for Orchestra by Witold Lutosławski.
On 18th March Przytocki is conducting the Płock Symphony Orchestra and cooperating with a Russian pianist Dmitry Shishkin (the Laureate of the XVII International Chopin Piano Competition in Warsaw in 2015). The concert programme includes Piano concerto No. 3 in D minor by Sergei Rachmaninov and a symphonic poem “Scheherazade” by Nikolai Rimsky-Korsakov.
Finally on 15th April in Zielona Góra Przytocki is leading a concert entitled “Romeo and Juliet”. He is cooperating with the Zielona Góra Symphony Orchestra and cellist Tomasz Daroch. The concert programme embraces Overture “Ruy Blas” by Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy, Cello concerto in A minor by Camille Saint-Saëns and Suite from “Romeo and Juliet” by Sergei Prokofiev.
